Our home, Our Happy Place! We have been living our new apartment for going on a year now. Since moving in I have been obsessed with decorating and making our space into a home.

I know some people and even I used to think, “its just an apartment you don’t own it why care or do so much?” My answer is why not? This is our current space and I thing it should be nice.

My boyfriend actually asked me the same question a few days ago because I am now obsessing over my outdoor space making it beautiful and peaceful place to relax especially with summer vastly approaching. My response” When you take care of your small blessing’s god blesses you with bigger ones”. I will treat my apartment the same way I will treat my bigger home in the future well decorated and clean, comfortable and peaceful.

I remember in my twenties I just bought furniture for my places and to fill up the empty space and didn’t really take pride in taking care of it. As a grown woman in my 40’s I value things and my space much more.

Just like most of the world I love me some amazon I have purchased almost everything from there so far. (See some items in collage above and links below)

Because our fireplace is black and white, not to mention I love anything black and white we chose this color for our living room.

I want to get a new rug and I am currently looking for ways to add some color to this space for the spring summer season.

I recently added these beige chair covers to our dining table and theses place mats to brighten up the space.

I am truly enjoying turning transforming our space and plan to star sharing more along the way stay tuned.
