God Still Has the last Word

God Still Has the last Word

Today we can allow ourselves to feel all that we are feeling. Many of us are disappointed, confused, fearful and sad and probably will be for the next 4 years.

My 23-year-old daughter called me today. She was so upset about the election. She had so much hope for change. That hope was taken away. It is so hard to support her hope. But also know that America would prove time and time again that as much as things change, many things stay the same.

In the end God has the last say and now more than ever we must be rooted in prayer.

  • I will have to pray much harder for my partner my son in love and every man in my family’s comings and goings. I pray that they stay safe. May they never face a cop who would get blanket immunity after taking their life.
  • I pray that my daughter never becomes the casualty due to her freedom to choose being taken away from her.
  • I pray that the hunt for migrants does not result in humans being put into cages. And young children become victims of predators with badges.
  • I pray that the hatred for my people remains behind closed doors.
  • I pray that we make it through this next 4 years with sound minds.

In the end God has the last say

xoxo, Kieks
