Morning Luvs

It is November 5, 2024 Election Day in the USA! I hope everyone has gone out a voted today or did like I did and got it done early!

Voting has always been important, but this one feels detrimental to our lives and our futures.

Why I Vote

• I am a first generation American I it is my born right and I will exercise that right.
• I am a woman. The women of our past fought hard to have this right. Why would I squander it?
• I identify as a black woman. Black people fought even harder for the right to vote. I will not allow their fight to be in vain.
• I believe that my vote counts. One of the most annoying things I have heard especially in the black community is that our votes don’t matter. If our vote didn’t matter a black man would not have become president in 2009 and serve 2 terms.
• My parents became citizens and always voted I was taught that it matters at an early age.
• I can’t complain if chose not to try.

I don’t care who you vote for today if you can get out there and get it done!
