Fall 2025: Style Inspiration I’m Excited to Try

“I like my money right where I can see it — hanging in my closet.” — Carrie Bradshaw

That line always makes me smile. This season, I’ve been gathering photos, saving looks, and putting together mood boards that are inspiring me to think about style differently. Instead of just wearing clothes, I want to style them — to curate outfits that feel casual but elevated, simple but intentional.

I’m not there yet, but these are the vibes inspiring me for Fall 2025.

Outfit Combinations That Inspire Me

These looks are less about new trends and more about learning how to style what I already have:

  • Oversized Blazer + Denim — Polished but not too serious. I love how it looks both structured and relaxed.
  • Denim on Denim — Playing with washes and textures makes it feel modern and wearable.
  • Mini Skirt + Tall Boots — Confident, bold, and not just for nights out.
  • Animal Print Layers — Pairing a leopard slip with a blazer makes prints feel like everyday staples.
  • Cozy Streetwear — Oversized knits and sweatshirts styled with boots or a structured bag feel curated, not sloppy.

Can’t forget the shoes!

After pulling outfit inspiration, I couldn’t ignore the shoes. They’re what complete the look and set the vibe for the season:

Tall Boots — I love how they make denim skirts or oversize blazers instantly feel styled.

Cowboy-Inspired Boots — Not my usual, but seeing them styled with denim and slip dresses has me curious.

Loafers — Classic, comfy, and a subtle way to dress up jeans or trousers.

Sneakers — I’m inspired to try them with blazers and wide-leg denim instead of just workout gear.

Strappy Heels — A simple heel with a casual look feels like the perfect mix of elevated and effortless..

Accessories: The Finishing Touch

What I’ve noticed from the inspiration photos is how much the right accessory changes the entire mood of an outfit. A simple blazer and jeans look one way on their own, but add a suede bag or a statement hat, and suddenly it feels intentional — styled, not just thrown on.

  • Hats — From structured fedoras to sleek caps, hats add personality and edge. They instantly take a look from simple to styled.
  • Bags — This fall, I’m loving slouchy suede totes and woven leather styles. They feel timeless but modern, and they pull an outfit together without trying too hard.
  • Belts — A good belt is underrated, but I love how it can add polish to denim or cinch an oversize blazer for shape.

Accessories are becoming the bridge between casual and elevated — they’re the details that make me feel like I’ve styled an outfit instead of just put one

Looking at all this inspiration reminds me that style isn’t about buying new pieces — it’s about how I put things together. This fall, I’m challenging myself to move from just wearing clothes to styling them: playing with proportions, adding details, and making my looks feel curated.

It’s a journey, but that’s what makes it fun.

Right now, I’m in a transition phase with my style. My lifestyle has shifted, and honestly, so has the way I want to show up in the world. Age plays a big role too — I want my clothes to reflect where I’m at now, not just where I’ve been.

That’s why this fall, I’m leaning into elevated casual looks: outfits that feel polished but still comfortable, styled but still true to me.

I know I’m not the only one in this in-between space, figuring out how to dress for who I’m becoming.

How is your style evolving with your lifestyle and age?

Until Next Time

Keep growing and thriving on your journey
