Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about hope. Not the kind that’s tied to wishful thinking or crossed fingers—but real hope. The kind rooted in faith, even when things don’t look like they’re shifting.
I’ve found myself praying quietly throughout the day, sometimes with no fancy words—just a simple, “God, I trust You.”
And if I’m honest, I’ve been placing my hope in God that the purpose He has for my life is closer than I think. That the late nights, the self-doubt, the healing, the starting over, the learning, the waiting—it’s all for something. That none of it is wasted.
Maybe you’re in that place too. Where you’re doing the work but wondering when it will click. You’re holding it together, staying faithful, but still asking: “God, am I getting any closer?”
Here’s what I’m learning: Hope is active. It’s a decision I have to make daily—to believe that God hasn’t forgotten me, that His timing is still good, even when I’m tempted to rush ahead.
So I’ll say it again:
I’m placing my hope in God that His purpose for me is unfolding, even when I can’t see it all yet.
What about you?
What are you hoping for?
What are you trusting God with that feels too big, too far away, or too impossible?
Let’s talk about it.
Because hope grows in community.
Until next time keep growing and thriving on your journey.
