Faith and Coffee: Lord, Align My Heart

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

There’s a deep, unshakable peace that comes when our hearts are aligned with God’s will. Not just when life is going well, but especially in the quiet moments when no one is watching—when it’s just you, your thoughts, and God’s presence.

Alignment is not about perfection; it’s about position.
It’s about placing your heart, mind, and steps under His guidance—not yours.

I’ve had seasons where I felt busy but not blessed. Productive, but not purposeful. I was doing good things, but I wasn’t doing God things. And while it looked like progress on the outside, internally, I was off course.

But God, in His grace, gently pulls us back into alignment—not with pressure, but with love.
When we realign with Him, we stop striving and start flowing. We stop doubting and start trusting. We stop performing and start becoming.

God never called us to chase—He called us to follow.
And when we follow Him, we don’t have to force anything. He opens the right doors, brings the right people, and gives us peace that doesn’t make sense.

Today, let this be your prayer:
“Lord, align my heart with Yours.
Even when it means releasing what I thought I wanted.
Even when it calls for patience instead of progress.
Help me to walk in step with Your Spirit, and not ahead of it.”

Reflection:
Ask God to reveal any areas of your life where you’ve been moving on your own understanding. Invite Him into your plans, your routines, your relationships—and let Him lead.

Because when your heart is aligned with Heaven, you can rest assured that everything else will fall into place in His perfect timing.

Thank you for reading today’s post.

Until next time, Keep Growing & Thriving on this journey.
