We all have those days when negativity sneaks in—maybe it’s stress, self-doubt, or just a case of the blahs. Instead of letting it take over, I’ve found a few simple ways to shift my mood and get back to feeling like me.
1. Brain Dumping in My Journal
When my mind feels like a chaotic group chat, I grab my journal and let it all out—no filters, no overthinking. It’s like clearing mental clutter so I can breathe again.
2. Moving My Body (Even When I Don’t Feel Like It)
A workout, a dance session, or even a quick walk outside? Instant mood booster. Sometimes I just stretch or do a few deep breaths, but movement always helps.
3. Hitting Pause & Checking In
Instead of ignoring my feelings, I ask myself, What’s really going on? A little self-awareness goes a long way in helping me reset.
4. Gratitude & Faith Check
When negativity hits, I remind myself of what’s good—even if it’s something small, like my morning coffee or a song I love. Shifting my focus makes all the difference.
5. Letting Myself Feel Without Judgment
Some days, I just need to cry it out or talk to a friend. And that’s okay! I remind myself that feelings aren’t problems to fix—they’re just part of being human.
At the end of the day, negative feelings come and go. The key is finding ways to move through them instead of getting stuck.

Until next time keep growing, thriving & embracing the journey.
