Daily Prompt: What Was the Last Thing You Learned?
I am currently listening to The Let Them Theory on Audible, and let me tell you—this book has me in a chokehold! 😩🔥 It feels like Mel Robbins (the Author) knows me personally and is calling me out in the best and most uncomfortable and needed way possible.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve taken so far
Learning to release control over people and situations that were never mine to hold onto in the first place. Instead of trying to force things or change people, I’m working on embracing the let them mindset. If they want to leave, let them. If they don’t see my value, let them. If they don’t support me, let them. And honestly? It’s freeing.
My favorite part of the Theory
The Let Me Theory. Because after you let them do whatever they choose, you get to ask yourself: What am I going to let ME do? Instead of focusing on what others are doing, I get to shift my energy back to myself—my healing, my joy, my purpose. And that’s where the real growth happens.
In a recent chapter, she talked about how fear of judgment holds us back from putting ourselves out there, and whew—if that isn’t me!
In one of my previous post Self-Sabotage and the Fear of the Unknown: I wrote about how I have started and stopped so many things including this blog due to being afraid of failing or that no one would like or support me. But since the new year, I’ve decided to do it anyway—because I want to and I enjoy doing it.
This is my Let Me.
What’s something you’ve learned recently that shifted your perspective? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to hear! 💬✨
Until next time, keep growing, thriving, and embracing the journey. ❤️
