There’s a deep sense of peace that comes with truly believing that nothing meant for you will ever pass you by.
In a world that constantly tells us to chase, hustle, and worry about missing out, God reminds us to trust in His divine timing.
God’s Timing Is Perfect
One of the hardest lessons in faith is patience. We live in an era of instant gratification, where waiting feels like punishment. But God doesn’t operate on our timeline—He moves according to His perfect will.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
When we internalize this truth, we no longer have to fear rejection, closed doors, or seasons of waiting. What God has set aside for you will not be given to another. If a relationship, job, or opportunity doesn’t work out, it simply wasn’t part of His plan for you—or at least not in this season.
Redirection Is Not Rejection
It’s easy to feel discouraged when things don’t go our way. But as believers, we must remember that God doesn’t withhold blessings—He redirects us toward something better.
Think of Joseph in the Bible. He was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, and imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. Yet, every painful step was leading him toward his purpose—to become a ruler in Egypt and save countless lives. What seemed like setbacks were actually setups for his destiny.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28
If something or someone leaves your life, trust that it wasn’t meant for you. God is not in the business of taking—He is in the business of preparing.
Walking in Faith, Not Fear
When we believe that nothing meant for us will pass us by, we stop striving out of fear. We release the anxiety that comes with comparison, doubt, and self-sabotage. Instead, we walk boldly, knowing that God is working behind the scenes.
Here’s how you can shift into a mindset of trust:
- Pray for clarity, not control – Instead of asking God for specific outcomes, ask Him to align your heart with His will.
- Release the need to rush – If it’s truly for you, it will come at the right time, in the right way.
- Focus on obedience, not outcomes – Your job isn’t to manipulate results but to remain faithful.
- Remember past faithfulness – Think of times God came through before. If He did it then, He’ll do it again.
A Promise to Hold on To
If you’re in a season of waiting, remember this: You are not forgotten. What God has ordained for you—whether it’s love, success, healing, or opportunity—will arrive right on time. No force can take away what God has already written in your story.
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14
So take a deep breath, trust in Him, and let go of the fear of missing out. Because nothing that is for you will ever pass you by.
Trusting in His timing,
XO, Kieks 💛
