
This prompt came up at the perfect time. I am currently preparing myself for a fitness challenge. I want to get back on a consistent schedule. Challenges always help me.
I love a good workout just about any kind accept running or jumping. I know I know Running is the best kind of cardio. However, it’s my least favorite because I have bigger breasts. It’s just annoying to run lol.

For the past year or so my favorite form of exercise has been Hot Yoga! I started going to HotWorx Gyms in 2023 as an alternate place to get in a workout. I wanted not to get bored with the same weight and cardio at my local gym.
HOTWORX is a virtually instructed exercise program. It is created for users to experience the many benefits of infrared heat absorption. You can complete a 30-minute Isometric workout or a 15-minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) session. The infrared heat penetrates your body and causes you to sweat. The isometric postures further accelerate detoxification. They physically remove the toxins from your organs through muscle contraction.
Their patented sauna combines heat, infrared, and exercise. This happens through “3D Training.” This combination makes HOTWORX a workout unlike any other fitness program available!

Hot Yoga -is an athletic posture sequence incorporating various styles and practices, while also benefiting from the infrared heat absorption. Using foundational postures, this workout guides you through a balancing sequence using static holds and ends with core conditioning. Get the Zen and mental recharge while detoxing in a short amount of time.
My Why
Why it is currently my favorite.
- The 24-hour access works for me because I struggle with time management. I can go any time, day or night. I just get on the app and schedule.
- It is a class but most days I am alone in the sauna. I am not the best a Yoga positions yet and no one sees my coordination or un-cordination but me.
- It is challenging! I love when I take a class a few times a week. I challenge myself to try the more challenging positions. The more you do it the better you get.
- It is a 30 min workout, but you feel like it has been an hour when you are done.
- My body feels good when I am done. I struggle with back pain, and I believe the heat and the stretching positions really help.
- Various classes – there are many classes to choose from on any given day you will not get bored.
- Mental – if I take a class after a long day of work it makes for a better night. Of course, we all know any work helps you to feel better due to the release of endorphins. During these sessions, the instructors drop positive nuggets or affirmations. Then they end with meditation to clear your mind before closing out the session.
Conclusion
Hot Yoga is currently my favorite. However, nothing beats a good hike. Honestly, I just have not been able to do many lately. My accident had made me unable to be in the sun for long periods of time. But now that I am better I will start hiking again on the weekends.
