Most people don’t understand each other!

We see it every day when we scroll online, in our families even in our homes we really just don’t get each other smh!

• Men don’t understand women.
• Women don’t understand men.
• Older people don’t understand youth.
• Younger people don’t understand their elders.
• One race of people doesn’t understand the other.
• Kids don’t understand their parents.
• Parents don’t understand their kids.

I could go on and on and still wouldn’t get them all.

Men and Women understanding each other.

When it comes to men and women understanding each other I think the key is communication and understanding that we look at things differently we receive things differently and we will never be the same.

Women are emotional and Men are logical I think we can listen to the others point of view but not try to change the others mind or way of thinking, if we do that, we may have a chance.

Elders’ vs Youth

When it comes to older people understanding youth, I think older people should remember that they were once the misunderstood younger people, and those younger people will one day understand it is the circle of life.

Parents vs Children

I can only speak from my experience; I understood my child more when I stopped comparing her to who I was as a child. When I understood that she was her own little person with her own feelings and thoughts. Instead, I created open lines of communication that help us to understand each other more. Her understanding me came with her becoming an adult and gaining grown up experiences that now she calls me and says I get it now mom.

Understanding other races and cultures

I don’t know if we need to understand each other, I think what is important is that we respect each other and our differences.

Move with love and respect instead of hate.
