When are you most happy?

There are so many moments in life that bring joy and happiness that it is hard to choose just one.

Coming Home

Something as simple as making it home is a joyful moment in every day for me. My home is a cozy safe space that we have created where Love, and comfort exist. If you have ever lived in a space where you have been uncomfortable or unloved like I have you understand how good the other side feels. Not to mention my person is there with me and quality time is enjoyed in our home.

Time with Friends and Family

The older I get the more I appreciate the time I get to spend with my family as I am getting older so are they and that time spent is so precious and now that I live so far from my closest friends and family I value and enjoy them even more than I did before. Just my weekly check-in call with my mom makes me happy. My Friends are my soul sisters and even though our lives are all going in different directions and spending time has become harder (shoot) even catching them on the phone has become harder when I get to spend any time or have long catch-up conversations with them it means the world to me.

A significant other cannot replace the Love Pocket reserved for Family and Friends

A Good Cup of Coffee

If you are a Coffee Drinker, you get it and there is no need to explain how that first sip brings so much joy! If you are not a coffee drinker guess you have to ask somebody Lol.

Self-Care

Any time I am taking care of myself I am happy Journaling, working out, getting my hair done, my nails done, getting a facial getting the word of God in any capacity doing my makeup, blogging, solo dates, getting dressed up, and buying myself flowers. I think you get the picture self-care is a key component to happiness.

My Daughter

I put this last, but it is actually number one. Being not only a single mom but a teenage single mom there is bond you create with your child that is just different at least for me. My daughter is my soulmate and the gift from God that I needed she is my BFF and I don’t know where I would be without her. So, time with her calls with her since we are no longer in the same state anything with her is everything to me and brings so much happiness to me.

Conclusion

I am the happiest enjoying the simplicities of my life.

When are you the most happy and why?

I appreciate you taking the time to read my blog until next time
